Maulana Shaukat Ali Road , commonly known as M.S. Ali Road , is a vital road that links the Grant Road Railway Station to Eastern Express Highway in Byculla . The road provides an east west connectivity to South Mumbai . Its termination points are Lamington Road junction near Grant Road Railway Station and Eastern Express Highway at the Sir J.J. Flyover .
The road starts below the Sir J.J. Flyover and runs towards the West . It meets the Lamington road at the busy junction near the Grant Road Central High School . The road joins the Frere bridge in the west , which goes above the western railway tracks .
