Shil Phata is an area about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of Mumbra, in the Thane district of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[1] Shil Phata is located east of Parsik Hills on the old Mumbai-Pune Road (National Highway 4)

The Mumbra Railway station is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Shil Phata in Mumbra.[7]
Bus service was started in 2010 through Mumbra-Shilphata bus service, but may no longer be in operation. Shil Phata is a proposed route on the Mumbai Monorail line betweenMahape and Kalyan.
